The SkyBean2 is a compact, robust and reliable audio vario for paraglider pilots who want to concentrate on what matters most – flying.

SkyBean2 deliberately does not use rechargeable batteries and instead relies on a tried and tested CR2032 button cell . This battery costs around 20 cents , is available at almost any gas station or supermarket and provides the device with up to 200 hours of runtime . A USB connection is therefore not necessary – or helpful either . Even if you connect the SkyBean2 to a USB port, the battery is not charged but it is not discharged either. Why? It's simple: disposable batteries are perfect for long-lasting devices , just like your remote control or car key .
